Your Time of Sensuality, A Time of You
As you stroll into the Taurus Full Moon window, the world will be taking on a gentler resonance in its dance within Mercury Retrograde. If you have been challenged by the seemingly disruptive energy that this retrograde imposes, Taurus chides you to allow such concerns to melt into a peaceful inward journey of self- discovery.
Sweet Taurus brings us a time of languished sensuality. This is not simply sexuality (though that’s a worthy pursuit during this time)! Sensually, you can connect with the joy of your world as you emphasize taking care of YOU. What enlivens your senses and brings you fully awake and into joy? Is it the warmth of hot chocolate on a chilly evening, the aroma of chili simmering on the stove, the sight of children jumping into a hillside of fallen leaves? Could it be the feeling of a soft, cozy blanket or the sound of the fire as it hisses and snaps? Have your senses been calling you to immerse yourself in the delights that await when you engage with life’s gifts? Notice how you begin to see your landscape in the days to come.
At the same time, the Scorpio sun will encourage you to feel the depth and width of the emotions in your life – especially in your relationships. Don’t forget the all-important relationship with YOU. The beauty of your world may even move you to tears so go with it and allow all the feelings to bubble to the surface, visit with them, ask them why they are coming in at this time. If the dark waters start to rise, remember they are there to support your journey and not to take you to a place of no return. Just flow with the sacredness of your feelings and soon you will float to the top renewed and refreshed.
While self-care is a must during this time and relaxation is encouraged, the concerns for self may also include making sure your finances are in order and things no longer of service to you are sorted and removed to a place where they might serve others instead. Make sure you carve out a little time to put your physical and fiscal houses in order.
There is much to honor and enjoy in this remarkable season so don’t forget gratitude!
