Pisces Full Moon – Harvest Full Moon

Element: Water
Window: September 12 – 15, 2019
Exact: September 13, 9:33 PM Pacific – September 14, 12:33 AM Eastern

This cycle, we’re extending the powerful and potent Harvest Full Moon period an extra day: September 12 – 15.  That’s because the exact full moon spans September 13 and 14 with its unique timing. Also, the magical Harvest Full Moon is the full moon closest to the Autumnal Equinox.  Add the gentle ebb and flow of Pisces to the mix and it is indeed a compelling time of sensitivity and intuition.

The full moon promises illumination.  First, she will shine her light on all that has ripened on the vine and has reached its time to “bring in” the abundant harvest of the work that has been done.  Secondly, it recognizes the illumination of ideas that have been shrouded in shadow.

Perhaps your growing season has been a bold and abundant time of great energy and fulfillment.  Or, perhaps you are still in search of the bounty you hoped to be a more fruitful harvest.  Either way, gentle and easy compassion are the order of the day.

Pisces offers the dreaming time and invites you to see a world in which abundance in all areas of your life are the norm.  You see it as though it is happening at this moment.  After all, you have the gifts of this harvest to prove that it can be done.  Or, perhaps you have a dream that you know is doable despite what you have seen this growing season.  Either way, your visualization of abundance is happening.  And, you see it clearly and detailed in this moment.

Now, with all this dreaminess, you may need to find some grounding. It may be easy to slide into a distracted state thus avoiding reality.  Knowing you can flow with the Pisces water gives you the buoyancy to reach the shore when needed.

This Pisces full moon will prove to be a time of higher emotional pitch. It’s a time to avoid snap decisions and reactions. There’s no running or hiding from your feelings, but rather it’s a time to greet them with a sweet acknowledgement of your deepest yearnings.  Add renewed compassion and gentleness to the mix to honor the Piscean energies.

As you move into the time of the Harvest Moon, how will you illuminate your life?

  • What will you honor and celebrate about your harvest, what you have accomplished, and if there is anything left undone?
  • Are there any areas that are needing abundance-thinking which you are prompted to illuminate?
  • What will you visualize and actualize in your meditations and mindfulness that represent abundance to you?
  • How will you prepare for those times when you will want to react impulsively or make snap decisions?
  • Who STILL needs forgiveness in your life? Don’t forget yourself.  Will you repeat the Ho’oponopono:  I’m sorry; please forgive me; thank you; I love you
